Weekend Music: Queen, Wembley, 1986

In my opinion, this show is one of the greatest live performances in the history of rock and roll. If I ever have a time machine of my very own, I’m attending both days of it right after I witness the Big Bang and have an epic conversation with Lorenzo di Medici.

  1. I was only just born when this concert happened, and I didn’t discover Queen until Freddie Mercury had already died, but they are one of my favorite bands of all time. I would love to have been there 🙂

  2. One of my favorites as well. 🙂 I Love how they performed Under Pressure at that show. Freddie was something special.

    • Yeah, I like that one, too. I used it in a post early on. And the shirtless Bohemian Rhapsody, which I’m saving for a rainy day.

The number of likes and comments on this thread surprised me. Wasn’t expecting it at all.
